Testimonials and Reviews
“ Aloha Anyone and Everyone Considering a Relationship with Colt Construction James Colt is an incredible individual. He is the owner and chief executive of Colt Construction. He is a whole lot more than just that. He is a classy gentleman who is honorable and great to work with at every level. Whatever Colt Construction and James say they’ll do they’ll end up exceeding your expectation. They are, in the home construction world, the best that my wife and I have ever seen. More to the point, whether it’s communication, the construction process, ongoing maintenance after completion, or overall, James and his team will exceed your expectations. He is and they are terrific! ”

“ Colt Construction built our home in Wailea roughly 30 years ago. They did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. The home has withstood every test of severe weather over the years. In addition, Colt Construction has done several remodel projects for us and again, the work quality was excellent at a very reasonable price. It has always been a pleasure to work with James Colt. The communication with him has always been outstanding. We would highly recommend Colt Construction to anyone. ”

“ After we lost our home in Lahaina due to the fire, we asked James if he would be willing to help us rebuild. James went above and beyond to help us rebuild our home. His expertise navigating the extremely difficult process that Maui County requires was critical, and we don’t think we could have done it without James. His experience, attention to detail, local connections, amazing staff and leadership from start to finish, enabled us to trust his craft and process without hesitation. We love our new home. It is perfect for us, and the quality of construction is the best I have seen. I highly recommend you reach out to Colt Construction if you are thinking of building a new home on Maui. ”

“ Building our dream home in Maui with this team was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Their commitment to high-quality craftsmanship is evident in every detail of our house, but what truly stood out was their seamless communication and professional approach throughout the entire construction process. Even after moving in, their dedication to ongoing maintenance and partnership has given us complete peace of mind, proving they are invested in their clients for the long haul. We couldn’t be happier with our home and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, top-tier builder in paradise. ”

“ We built an absolutely amazing home with James Colt and completely remodeled another house together. We have undertaken similar projects on the Mainland with other builders all of which had issues. Colt Construction is by far the best team we have ever worked with. They are responsible, reliable and simply deliver finished product that meets the highest standard of excellence. James Colt has impeccable integrity and is the most qualified luxury builder we have ever worked with. ”
